Start with one payment
The dividend input is the amount per share for one payment. The selected frequency turns it into 12, 4, 2, or 1 payments per year before multiplying by the quantity held.
Dividend yield divides that annual amount per share by the share price. Quantity changes the cash amount, but not the yield.
Use the rate on the statement
Country alone cannot determine withholding. Residence, tax treaties, security type, account type, and documentation can change the rate, so this calculator does not fill one in for you.
The after-withholding result estimates the cash left from this dividend only. It does not calculate credits, refunds, filing obligations, or tax due elsewhere.
