Portle Bridge
Read your broker account into your ledger.
Bridge is a desktop app that reads a brokerage account and writes the transactions into your Portle ledger. It reads only. It cannot place or change an order.
Toss Securities on macOS comes first
One broker is finished and checked against a real account: Toss Securities. Bridge runs on macOS today.
Bridge runs on your computer. Your broker credentials stay in the operating system keychain on that machine and never reach a Portle server.

A Mac from 2020 or later is usually Apple silicon. You can check in the Apple menu under About This Mac.

You can do this today with your own assistant.
Your broker may already have an API. If it does, you do not have to wait for Bridge. This document is a prompt you paste into a coding assistant such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex, and it writes the script for you.
It carries the same rules Bridge follows: append only, the first run changes nothing, running twice adds nothing the second time, and no number is ever invented.
